Baby Looking Good

Today Mondo and I went to the doctor for the baby. They did an ultra sound and everything looks good. I posted the picture on the side of the blog. The black is the womb and the gray spot on the right of the womb is the baby. There is a little head with eye and mouth and the rest resembles a tad pole. The 20 week ultra sound I am sure will be more interesting. We were able to see the heartbeat so everything is looking good. I feel so much better now that I have seen the baby.

It was funny when Katie saw the picture she said, "Let me see, yep it's a boy." I explained we can't tell this soon what the baby is but she assures us that she can and that it's a boy. Mondo is going with Katie's diagnoses. :) I will go back in 4 weeks. They also gave me some Zofran for the nausea. I feel really good today. Still have some nausea but not as severe. I haven't started the medicine either yet. I missed some work due to the nausea and plan to return tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a good week,

Terri

Last Soccer Game

Well today was Allison's last soccer game. Her team, the Stingrays, did great this season. They won every game but one, not that they keep score at this age but the parents do. The kids got a long really well and worked as a team. Allison's soccer picture turned out really cute. I don't know why our scanner is making it look so griddy. It looks a lot clearer in person.

She learned about team work and became a little for involved in the game by the end. She definitely wants to play again next year. It will be nice to have our Saturdays back though.

On another subject. Mondo decided USAA was not the place for him. He gave notice on Friday and they let him go. He is going back to his old job, Take Charge America, as of Tuesday. They were so excited to have him back that the VP called when he heard Mondo wanted to come back. Not many places does the VP give you his personal cell phone number because he wanted to get in touch with Mondo that bad. The call volume was just to much at USAA for him. The hours will work out better for us too. 6am to 2:30pm. Before Mondo would get home about 40 minutes before I had to leave and that made it hard for us to sit down as a family for dinner. That is something that has always been important to us.

I go to the doctor on Monday. I will update this once I speak with them. I so hope they can do something about this morning sickness.

Well Until Monday ,

Terri

Morning Sickness Yuck

I thought the morning sickness was going to skip me this time. I guess that was wishful thinking. For the last 4 days I have been so sick. I did talk with the doctor today and they are moving my appointment up to 10/29 from 11/07. That way if I am still having nausea then they can give me some Zofran or something to help out with it. I had to miss Thursday and Friday from work because of being sick.

On a lighter note. My mother in law took some pictures of the girls at her house. Allison got a guitar and is pretending she is in a rock band. I thought that didn't start until she was 16. Another thing I was wrong on. She is already very opinionated and wants things a certain way. Especially her hair. We are growing her bangs out so that is why they are in her face.Jen does this face remind you of anyone. I know a little Terri.

Well off to clean house before the nausea kicks in.
Have a good week.

IT'S ABOUT TIME!

Recently I found a bag of disposable cameras. Yes, some people do still use film not digital. So I figured it was about time to get them developed. I mean there were only 14 cameras in the bag! Katie for the last 6 months has been asking to see pictures of her as a baby. We had some, but I couldn't figure out what happen to all the other pictures of her. Well now I know. They were all still undeveloped. It is funny some of the pictures I had forgotten about. (Don't worry we do have a digital camera now. ) So below are some pictures that we found from the past when we developed the film.

Villanueva Party of 5

We have some BAD news and some GOOD news. I will go over the bad news first. Last Saturday we had to put Mia, our dog, back up for adoption with the AZ Humane Society. We had her for just under 2 months, however she was nipping Katie more and more. We tried training her not to, but it was becoming more regular. She did not draw blood. I think since she is a little dog she just needs older kids. It was hard and we were all pretty upset, except Katie, who was more then ready for the dog to go.

But,like I said we have some GOOD news too. We just found out that we are expecting our third child in June 2008. Of course Mondo would like a boy this time, but we are just praying for a healthy pregnancy. As most of you know I have had two rough pregnancies. I am hoping this one will be a little more enjoyable. Please keep the pregnancy in your prayers. I am also Part-time with USAA which means no short term. So when we have the baby we will not be reimbursed for lost income. Luckily we have 9 months to put some money away and I will receive my yearly bonus in February.

Now we wait. We are so excited. I will keep you updated as we progress. Thank you in advance for all your prayers.
