Sorry no pictures this time.
Things have been pretty crazy around here for the last month or so. A has been dealing with a skin condition on her foot since before Thanksgiving. 1st it was a callus, which I knew wasn't true. 2nd they say it's a fungus and try x y and z cream. After that didn't help, and 3 more doctors appointments since Christmas, the dermatologist at Childrens Hospital thinks it's a rare form of Psoriasis. The only break out is on her foot. It started as small as a nickle and now is the size of a dollar bill. I think the cream we have now seems to be helping. I guess this runs on my side of the family. They say it can come and go through her life, but if we can get the right cream to help during breakouts it won't get this bad.
Then, last week A fell off the swing set and sprained her arm. As many of you remember, she broke both of her arms 01/2007 falling off the bunk beds. I guess she takes after me, poor kid. I'm just glad it wasn't broken. Other then that Allie is doing well. She continues to love school and is enjoying the cooler weather. Everyday you can find her running outside with her friends down the street or riding their bikes in the grassy area across the street. She is growing up and has a very nurturing side to her.
K and S are doing well. K loves school and is starting to learn all the sounds letters make. I just bought a book to start helping her learn to read. She is looking forward to it. I think having a older sibling has really helped her learn things early. Good and Bad things. She is due to start Kindergarten next school year. She keeps saying by that point her hair will be long enough for pony tails. She is such a great helper and loves to cuddle with her little brother.
S is now crawling and has broken his first tooth. He is in to everything. He is very vocal and loves to sing. If it's a song he recognizes he will hum a long. Both Mondo and My side are very musical and he really seems to enjoy music. He also is a chatter box. He babbles for a very long time. I can't wait to hear, or maybe I can, all the ideas he has going on in his head.
It seems like life is just flying by. Mondo and I are really focusing this year on health. Today we moved our elliptical from the garage, where our gym moved to after Sean was born, to the living room. We figure, if you have time to watch TV then you have time to be on the elliptical. I don't watch much TV, but plan to use it during S nap time. Before, I was afraid to be in the garage with them in the house. Now, I have no excuse.
I hope all is well with your families. I will post some pictures next time.
