I can't believe that school starts in 2 weeks. We are moved in to our new house, and so happy to be back in the same town with our close friends. The kids are excited to start school, Ms. K will be going back to the school she attended when we lived here last time, and the other two kids will be going to the neighborhood school. The are growing up so fast. Little man when be starting 1st Grade, Ms. K will be starting 5th grade, and Miss A will be starting 8th grade.

We have had an amazing summer...........
We started off the summer with celebrating one of my best friends birthdays. Letitia, you are an amazing woman, and I am so happy that you are part of our life. You show me strength, and I know you are always there for me. Julie, my sister, did an amazing job capturing pictures to celebrate our friendship for Letitia's birthday. God has really blessed me for you being in my life. I love spending time with my niece and nephews too. Not everyone is blessed to know that no matter what, someone has your back, and I can say I am. Love you Tisha....

We have also had a great time hanging with the cousins, Mondo's brothers kids, at Wet N Wild all summer. You wouldn't think living an hour a way would have made that much of a difference, but now that we live closer, we have enjoyed the cousins bonding. I love that the kids are having sleep overs and just cousin time. They are some amazing kids, and I enjoy getting to know them more each day.

In July we celebrated my cousin Ronnie and her wife Bridget's marriage in California. This trip was so much fun. When we left our house it was 112, and we arrived to a cool 60 degrees. We camped in the Redwoods for a few days, and a few days on the beach. I loved that there was no cell service in the redwoods, and we had a much needed electronic detox. Little man found some great hide outs. It's amazing seeing God's beauty in person. It was the perfect place for a wedding. My kids love their "Opa" (that's Little man's name for her.) and their aunt Bridget. It was great to meet their friends I had heard so much about over the years, and see their daughter again. Sam, you are funny and an overall great person. My kids adored you, and I hope we will get to see you again in the future. (Your mom's are coming at Thanksgiving, you are always welcome too.) I've learned this year that family is important and you never know how long you will have with them. Love them, and always tell them you love them, for it could be the last time you see them. I hope you have a great summer, like we have. Looking for to what God has in store for the rest of the year.
