Is it June Yet!

I know I am only 29 weeks, about, but I am so uncomfortable. You would think, this being my third child, I would have remembered all of this from before. It's funny how you forget. I did see the doctor on Wednesday and was put on pelvic rest. Basically, I have to stay off my feet completely for the next 2-3 days. The baby is very low and causing me a lot of pressure and pain when I walk. The doctor is hoping with me off my feet for a few days, that he will move positions. Also, I just got over a virus, so it's possible my muscles are just weaker from coughing so much. My nausea is finally slower. It still comes and goes. I don't think I would know what to do if I had a pregnancy without it. I am finally up about 8-10 lbs from my start weight. I am ALL BELLY.

We had this same issue with Katie. When the baby is low sometime the pressure will cause you to go into preterm labor. With Katie I was dilated to 3 by 31 weeks and she dropped. When that happens you go on to bed rest until 36 weeks.

Right now we are just trying to trust the God is going to look out for us financially. Since I am part-time if I don't work I don't get paid. I should be able to go back to work on Tuesday. I am hoping this helps relieve some of the pain. It is hard to just sit there and do nothing, especially for me, when you have two kids roaming and tearing up the house or fights needing to be broke up etc. I just keep telling myself the mess will still be here next week. It is taking everything I have not to get up and clean it. I am sure you moms can understand what I mean.

The baby is doing good. We had to go to the hospital again last week due to my temperature being almost 102 and Tylenol not bringing it down. They were able to get the fever down and the babies heartbeat is strong. He seems to be getting a lot of hiccups. About 5-10 times a day that I can feel. They say that the hiccups is the baby practicing for when they have to breathe on their own. So I am expecting a BIG CRY when he comes out, since he has lot of practice. The girls like to put their head on my belly and listen to them or feel them on their face, especially Katie. They are very excited. Katie tells me all the time how she is going to help with the baby, but daddy is going to change the diapers. Sounds good to me.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. Yes, I think this is the last one. Unless God knows something we don't. :)

Happy 7th Birthday Allison

It's been a pretty eventful week here. Allison turned 7 years old on St. Patricks Day. Wow, how the time has gone by. It seems just yesterday we were meeting you. We enjoy watching you grow into a little lady. You have a great heart and love to help. You are very thoughtful and your sister adores you, as do we. You are very special to us and have brought us great happiness. I look forward to watching you grow and become a young woman.

We had a family dinner for Allie on Sunday. Unfortunately, half way through the dinner she started running a high temperature and became sick. She was very upset that we would not let her go to school on Monday, her birthday. She loves school and learning. I hope this continues as she gets older. We had bought cupcakes for school, you can only bring store bought items, and she was very excited. She seemed better on Tuesday and went to school for 2 hrs, before the nurse called me to pick her up. Needless to say, we missed most of the week and she will be going back to school on Monday. Yesterday, Thursday, I took her to Urgent Care because she was still running a temperature. This time it was over 104 degrees. She was pretty out of it and having migraines from the high temp. They sent us over to the hospital to be checked. This was the second time we had been there this week. It turns out she has a virus and it has to run its course.

Like I mentioned, we have been to the hospital twice this week. On Monday I fell trying to open the car door. I went to get my foot and the baby checked out on Monday night. Luckily, I only sprained my foot. The baby is fine too. He did not like the monitors on him, I think it limited the room he had, and continued to kick the monitors off me. At least he was moving, that's always good.

As you can tell by the Pictures Allison is growing up. She is 51 or 52 inches tall and growing taller by the day. Some say she looks like me others think she looks like Mondo. I can see a little of both of us. She is very sensitive, which I can be sometimes, but doesn't talk as much as I do. :) She is a great kid and we are proud to be her parents. She LOVES to write stories, keep a journal and draw. She is always drawing. We told her next year maybe we would sign her up for some drawing lessons that her school gives.

Sorry Allie you were sick all week, especially on your birthday, but we hope you have a great year and we love you very much.

The beginning of the Jungle

We started on the nursery this weekend. We are doing a Jungle Theme. Mondo did a great job painting. I am attaching some pictures. The colors look a little different in the picture then in person, but you'll get the idea. The green is darker, more like the picture below and the yellow is a little darker. Thank you Letitia for helping me pick the colors. I will be contacting you when we are ready to paint the rest of the house. Just Kidding.

I am really starting to get excited. I am 27 weeks on Sunday, tomorrow, and counting down. I can hardly wait. My stomach is getting bigger each day and I can tell he is getting stronger. He seems to think you should sleep all day and play and kick from 10pm to 3am. That will have to change once he's born. I am just happy to feel him move all the time. I will post other pictures once the room is complete. That probably won't be until May. We have a long list of things to get done before the baby comes and before the shower. Next week we will try and do a few dump runs and clear off the side of the house and what we can out of the garage. Mondo has lost his workout room to the baby. He's been a good sport about it. We are turning the garage into our workout room. We have a 2 1/2 car garage. Now I will have some where to work out after the baby comes. No Excuses !!

A Relaxing Weekend

No Pictures yet, sorry!

We had a great weekend. The four of us and my Aunt Loree took a trip to California for a family birthday party. Ciara, my cousin Charity's daughter, turned 8 years old. It was great to see them again. I forgot my camera at home so we will have to wait for the pictures to be developed. I think Don was happy to have another male in the house this time. Last time it was him and 6 girls. Mondo and Don always have a great time hanging out. You would think they have known each other forever.

The girls went swimming, spent sometime at the beach and just played non stop for two days. It is so nice that are girls are with in a year of each other. I joke that they will have to have another one in the next year to keep the tradition going. We don't want Sean to be the odd man out. We even avoided bringing back a souvenir traffic ticket this time. It was a long drive, but well worth it. We are hoping to see them maybe in May for my baby shower. We'll have to wait and see.

Three hours in to the ride home I downloaded "Are you smarter then a 5th Grader" on my cell phone and found out I am not. Mondo is pretty good at the questions though. It helped entertain us for the last 2 1/2 hours home. What would we do with out technology? Allison kept reminding us how bored she was. Good thing is, she gets to do it all over in two days. Allison will be going to San Diego to Sea World with Alexus and my parents on Tuesday.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will post some pictures of the trip soon.
