Back To Work

On Tuesday it's back to work again. I am dreading this. The 6 weeks off with the baby has flown by. It's amazing how much he is changing every day. He is very strong and has already rolled over from his back to his stomach. He only does this when he is mad and tightens up. He looks so much like his dad. He's going to be a handsome little guy.

Katie is already upset about me going back. She told me to let my boss know I was quitting. Believe me, I wish I could, however we need to eat too. It will be nice to get a paycheck again and be around some adults. I have my three children and one of my good friends two children during the day. So they keep me busy.

They have changed my hours to 6-1015 pm and Saturday mornings. At least it's only part-time. It will be hard to leave the kids, especially the baby, but I'm sure Mondo will be fine. I have been staying up with the baby while I was off, so I have a feeling he might be a bit tired the first few nights. He'll get the hang of it. He's a great dad and is really good with them. He has saved my sanity a few times over the last few weeks. I will post more pictures of the girls soon.

Wish me luck with balancing work and home. I am sure I will need it.

4th of July trip to Tucson and Mt. Lemon

We had a great weekend. We drove down to Tucson on Friday for the 4Th of July celebration. Amy, my cousin, church was having a BBQ and games for the children. The plan was to watch the fireworks from the church and let the children play on the big water slide the church had. Mother Nature changed all that. As soon as we got to the Church, it started pouring. On one hand it was nice to see rain, since we never see it up in Phoenix, but on the other hand the kids were really disappointed. They were still able to have some fun. The girls had bracelet balloons made and face paintings.

The original reason we went to Tucson was due to Matthew, Amy's son, was turning 8 years old. His party was not until 4 pm on Saturday, so we took a day trip up to Mt. Lemon. It was so nice up there. 67 degrees was the temperature. Of course, Allie and Katie were cold, but I'll take that over the above 100 temperature off the mountain. They have a cabin that sales really good pizza and big cookies. YUMMY.

I even got to take a nap and read a whole book while we were gone. Amy, as you can tell in some of the pictures, held Sean most of the weekend. It was a nice break. Mondo, helped fix Amy's CD by banging on it with a hammer. It worked ! :)

Then it was off to Matthew's swim party. It was nice to see a lot of Amy's family, the other side, that I only see once a year.

Overall, it was a nice weekend, but it's always nice to come home.

We plan to go camping up at Mt. Lemon sometime in the future. We just have to get a waterproof tent, since it tends to rain there a little every day.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Safe 4Th of July. We will be going down to Tucson tomorrow, Friday. Matthew, my cousin's son, will be turning 8. We are going to hang out with them for the 4Th and then go to Matthew's birthday party on the 5Th. My friend gave me a bunch of glow sticks (100), so the kids will be lit up. Should be fun. I will post pictures when we come back.

We are all doing well. We're tired, but that's to be expected. I am having to cut dairy products out of my diet to see if the babies upset stomach gets better. He's been a little fussy the last few days. Hopefully, it's that and not colic. Now you know why I'm so tired. He's eating well. He now weighs 9lbs 8 oz. He looks more and more like his daddy everyday. I will have to post a baby picture of Mondo and him next to each other so you can see the resemblance.

Enjoy your weekend!
